About
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT# 98899, and obtained my Master of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I have experience working with youth ages 2 to 18, adults and families and have worked in residential, community, drug and alcohol treatment and private practice settings.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), certified in Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP), trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), am a National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEABPD) Family Connections leader and Certified Sibshops facilitator.
I combine my love of psychology with my love and respect for horses and passionately believe in, and have witnessed, the healing power of horses in clients’ lives. Extensive training allows me and my equine partners to provide supportive services to youth, adults and organizations to address a variety of issues.
